I really do not think it will deter young drivers from the import market and I am not overly impressed with all the instrument gauging in the center of the car. Also they went with more of a import tuner look, which is popular, but is not GM's image. The Dodge SRT-4 is in the same ball park money wise and carries an extra 30HP and carries the same horsepower of the bit more money but naturally aspirated Acura RSX Type S. It's a step in the right direction for GM, but when the competition continuously comes out with something more powerful in the same price range, they cannot compete.
