The band has released two EPs, A Pop Culture Suicide (2016) and Welcome to the War (2017), and their debut album. The band was formed in 2014 by lead singer and guitarist Matt Holliday, drummer Andrew Dost, and bassist/keyboardist/singer Tony DeZuniga. The band is made up of Vinny (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Mike (drums, percussion), Joe Pecora, (bass, guitar) and Bill (keyboards, guitar, bass, vocals). They are rounded out live by Joe and Billy who also contribute in the studio. The band show a real pop sensibility in their song writing, combining the best bits from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's and produce a sound which is fresh and modern Mike and Vinny are the two principle and permanent members of Red Vox. They produce simple infectious pop songs delivered with a rawness which delves into the dirty electro pop sound of bands like Daft Punk fused with the edge of hard-hitting rock bands like the Dirty Pretty Things. Today, you can barely go to a gig (well, a gig during which the keyboard player actually plays the keyboards) without espying a red slab of Scandinavian.
